Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

• Set off early from Marrakech, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. • Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, famous as a fortress and film location. • Stop at a local cooperative (argan oil or pottery) for an educational insight into traditional crafts and community economy. • Continue through the Valley of Roses and Berber villages on your way to Dades. • Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel within the Dades Gorges.
